These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of this website and any websites, design, copywriting, hosting, maintenance, and related services (the “Services”) provided by I Am Easy to Use LLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”), which operates under the name ibydo. By visiting this website or engaging us for work, you agree to these Terms.
ibydo is the working name of I Am Easy to Use LLC. We design, write, build, host, and maintain websites and related digital products for businesses and individuals. You can reach us at michael@iameasytouse.com or (802) 556‑3630.
By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or commissioning work, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract, and that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. A separate written proposal, statement of work, or invoice may add project-specific terms; where it conflicts with these Terms, the project-specific document controls for that project.
Depending on what we agree, the Services may include website design and development, copywriting, image and asset preparation, domain and hosting setup, ongoing hosting, and maintenance or edits on request. The exact scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any project are set out in the proposal or invoice we provide to you before work begins.
Each project is quoted individually. Commercial websites are paid work. Unless your proposal or invoice states otherwise:
Where we host your site, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep it online and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Hosting relies on third-party infrastructure providers, and downtime, maintenance windows, or outages outside our control may occur. Maintenance and edits are performed on request during normal working time; we do not provide a guaranteed response or resolution time unless separately agreed in writing.
Upon full payment of all amounts due for a project, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for you, including the page content and design as delivered. We retain ownership of any underlying tools, code libraries, frameworks, techniques, and know-how we use to build it, and of any pre-existing or general-purpose components, which we may reuse on other projects. Third-party assets (such as fonts, stock media, or open-source software) remain subject to their own licenses.
Unless you ask us in writing not to, we may display your project in our portfolio and showcase and reference it as work we have done.
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of any content, materials, or information you provide. You represent that you have the rights to all such material and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights or violate any law. You agree not to use the Services to publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, and not to misuse, probe, or attempt to disrupt this website or any site we host.
The Services may rely on third parties — for example hosting providers, domain registrars, and font or asset providers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, or terms of those third parties, and your use of their services may be subject to their own agreements.
The website and the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and we make no guarantee of any particular result — including traffic, search ranking, leads, sales, or revenue.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I Am Easy to Use LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the specific project giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months preceding the event.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless I Am Easy to Use LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of content or materials you provide, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms.
Either party may end an ongoing engagement (such as hosting or maintenance) with reasonable written notice. Fees for work performed and for the current billing period are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in your proposal. We may suspend or terminate the Services immediately for non-payment or for any use that violates these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved will be the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us in good faith to try to resolve the matter informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page with its “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or Services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
